This mod uses no new assets, hence its size, and uses vanilla AI. What it does is that it essentially creates copies of the animals hidden in Arma 3's code and makes them visible in the editor. In response to the series of dog screenshots (and it was actually my mission that started those off!), I have made a teeny tiny mod for ambient animals.
